Where We Work

Bright Futures
Each community we serve is unique. So is each of our programs. We are determined to make every program successful.
Featured Partner Project
Strengthening Capacities of Communities in Parental Education and Child Development
Two communities we are supporting in Burkina Faso are employing Learning Through Play (LTP) early childhood development programs. LTP engages parents in play activities with their own children in order to foster healthy child development and promote attachment, which helps children thrive. UNICEF is participating with CCFC in this effort.

Testimonial
"There used to be only one borehole well for my whole village. So many people used it that the water pressure was often weak, and sometimes it didn't work at all. Some people in my village turned back to using well water, and I was worried I might one day have to do the same. This (new) borehole alleviates the suffering of my community and it has come at the right moment. Luckily, the new well has swept my worries away."
Our Work, in Action

Christian Children's Fund of Canada partners with organizations and communities that share our values and goals
Together, we help communities become self-sustaining
Dr. J. Calvitt Clarke and Dr. Verent Mills start work with Chinese war orphans.
Dr. Clarke creates China's Children Fund (CCF).
CCF expands its work from Asia into the Middle East after WWII. Renames itself "Christian Children's Fund".
CCF has global reach, and Canadian support leads to the creation of Christian Children's Fund of Canada.
Our History
in Burkina Faso
We have been working with communities in Burkina Faso since 1987. We work in partnership with local organizations to help improve life for children, their families and their communities in five key areas: health and nutrition; education; water, sanitation and hygiene; sustainable economic growth; and strengthening community organizations.
